***UPDATE***
**VERY URGENT NOTICE**
This is a BE SAFE Courtesy Notice from
W. Brian Threlkeld & Assoc., Inc.
With the rain continuing, the water is not able to drain from your septic tank as quickly as we would like. With that being said, raw sewage can begin backing up into your home. Though it may be inconvenient, you should stop or extremely limit the use of water in your home. Any water use inside your home, such as sinks, toilets, showers, washing machines, goes into your septic system. If you continue to use water it will backup and cause overflow of raw sewage into your home.
However inconvenient it may be, you must stop using water or limit the water use. We have got to give this excess water time to drain off. It could take 2-3 days for the water to drain.
**URGENT MESSAGE**
We are facing historical and catastrophic rain and flood potential. We advise you to limit water usage in your home, including toilets, baths, washing machines. Our septic systems possibly cannot handle this level of rain and will begin backing up.
Also, water is beginning to top low areas on our roads. Limit your driving until this water can subside. Do not attempt to cross standing water over roadways.
Please be safe.
